Green Up 2025: A New Chapter in Excellence
Now proudly part of the prestigious Comenius EduMedia Awards, highlighting the power of educational media for a sustainable future.

In 2025, the Green Up Prize takes a significant step forward by becoming part of the prestigious Comenius EduMedia Awards. This partnership emphasizes the importance of high-quality educational media in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Whether you’re new to Green Up or a returning participant, the competition remains as exciting and impactful as ever, with added opportunities to showcase your work on an international stage.

About the Comenius EduMedia Awards

The Comenius EduMedia Awards have been organized by the Gesellschaft für Pädagogik, Information und Medien e.V. (GPI) since 1995. These awards recognize and celebrate outstanding ICT-based educational media across all educational fields, content areas, and applications. Products are evaluated based on their pedagogical value, content quality, and design excellence.

What Does This Mean for Green Up Participants?

The Green Up Prize will continue as it did in previous years, but with some changes:

  • The application process remains straightforward. If you applied in 2024, you’ll find the process familiar, with only minor adjustments to the questionnaire.
  • Additional information may be requested about your product’s educational and pedagogical value to meet the evaluation criteria of the Comenius EduMedia Awards.

This evolution ensures that Green Up participants have the opportunity to compete for three prestigious awards in 2025:

  1. Green Up Award
  2. Comenius Seal
  3. Comenius Medal

The Green Up Prize 2025 remains open for all innovators and creators who are committed to promoting sustainability through educational media. As part of the Comenius EduMedia Awards, this year’s competition is an exciting opportunity to gain international recognition for your work.

By participating, you’ll gain visibility and recognition as part of a wider global initiative promoting innovation in educational media.
